Arena
The lighted arena at Head and Heel ranch is a classic by any standards. It measures a big 200 feet wide by 330 feet long. Actual sanctioned rodeos have been hosted there. It boasts hitching rails for tie up for the most difficult horses and provides plenty of room to ride safely. Day or night riding is available until 11:00 p.m. in the arena thanks to the 20 – 1,500 watt sports lights surrounding it. Additionally, the arena is equipped with an air operated turn out chute for team roping and roping practice (with live steers). The steer boxes and wrapping lane are under roof. Immediately adjacent to the arena is the bunk house, pavilion with picnic area, full kitchen and bathroom facilities.
