Head and Heel Ranch also is situated near the Florida greenway and affords miles of horse trails through beautiful woods, creeks and ponds, lined with granddaddy live oaks draped with Spanish moss. Enjoy riding your horse in some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere.
Step back in time into old Florida when the “crackers,” (so named because of the sound their whips made when on roundup), rode through Florida tending their cattle. Learn to rope like a pro (with live steers), participate in barrel race training, watch one of the many demonstrations or just enjoy the riding trails. Of course be prepared to feast on some of the best country cooking anywhere while swapping stories around the traditional nightly camp fire.
